Come See Us
Come as you are. Bring the family. Bring a friend. We’d love for you to join us.
Coffee and tea are served at 9:30am, our service starts at 10am, and our service usually lasts about 90 minutes. We'll sing some songs, hear a message based on Biblical truths, and discuss what we’re learning.
There’s a supervised Nursery for babies and toddlers, and Westsyde Kids for children age 4 through grade 7 happens upstairs. Children can be brought to the Nursery or Westsyde Kids partway through the service during the break.
Frequently Asked Questions:
1. Do I need to dress up? Nope. We like you just the way you are.
2. Do you have programs for my kids? We do, from babies up through grade 7. Check out what we have for Kids for more details.
3. What if I’m not sure about Christianity? Perfect. That’s one of the reasons why we’re here. You can explore faith at your own pace.
If you have any questions, please connect with us and let us know how we can help.

Jesus designed us for community. To help you grow in your relationship with Jesus & others, it’s important to get connected in intentional relationships with people who have the same goal.
Small Group are groups of about 6-12 adults who meet in different locations to pursue spiritual growth and healthy relationships. You’ll be encouraged to live out the truths you discover in the Bible, as you encourage others to do the same. Small Groups are where the deepest and most authentic relationships at Westsyde Fellowship Church are grown. Our goal for Small Groups is twofold:
Small Groups are a helpful way to grow deeper in your faith. It is within these small communities that we can express our doubts, ask questions, build personal relationships and practice applying the gospel to our lives.
To join a Small Group, contact Pastor Matthew.

Young Adults is for young men and women ages 18 – 30…ish looking to connect with each other and build something special within the community. We meet Sundays from 12-2pm to eat together, build relationships, talk about life, and do a bit of a study (see Calendar for details - scroll to the bottom and select each Young Adult event to see details).
For more information or to get connected to Young Adults call the church office at 250-579-8361 or talk to Jon or Tristen.
*All event details are subject to change based on what the group wants to do.
Youth is for students in grades 8-12 and happens on Wednesdays, 7-9pm, September to May, usually whenever school is in. We build great relationships with Jesus and each other, talk about our lives and struggles, and go deeper than you may have ever thought possible.
Most nights include games, a snack, a talk about a topic that high school students care about, and small group discussion. Monthly, we try to have fun events that are all about having fun, building relationships, and are an opportunity to invite friends who wouldn’t normally come to a church.

SUNDAYS
Westsyde Kids
Westsyde Kids is a safe, fun and engaging environment staffed with caring volunteers who will get to know you and your child by name.
At Westsyde Kids, we believe the Bible should never be boring, learning can be fun, and good leaders always care. The focus is our small group environment. We want kids to see how God’s Word fits into their lives, to learn how to talk to him, and to build friendships that will last.
An exciting program for children aged 4 to grade 7, Westsyde Kids happens every Sunday morning at 10am. We all start together in the main service downstairs and then kids are dismissed to go upstairs after the first worship set, just before the message. Parents must sign in their kids and pick them up after the service upstairs in our children’s area.
To speed up registration on your first visit you can download the form here. We will also have copies at the registration table.
If you have any questions, please email Anne, our Children’s Leader, at westsydekids@gmail.com.

Nursery
Our nursery provides a safe place where children are lovingly cared for so that parents can relax and focus on the service while their little ones are with us. With a bright, cheerful facility and a team of responsible volunteers, we have a nursery that is both comfortable and inviting. Located just to the left of the auditorium, we are well-equipped to care for infants and toddlers, age 3 and under.
SAFETY
The safety of your children is our first priority. Our leaders and volunteers all go through an application process, get a Criminal Record Check, and are trained to work with children through healthy and safe practices.

Baptism is a public declaration of your faith in Jesus and a new association with Him and His family, the church. While baptism shows your faith in Jesus and your connection to your new family, the church in all places and all times, Membership shows your commitment to a local church, here and now. Becoming a member means you are choosing to work with this group of Christians to learn from one another, help each other grow, and share Jesus with others in our community, city, and world.
Interested in baptism or membership? Contact Pastor Matthew for our next Baptism & Membership class.

We want to help support women of all ages to get to know each other, build relationships, have fun, and learn and grow together.
If you’re interested and would like to connect, just show up, or contact our church office.

Everyone is welcome! Bring your projects and materials, and work alongside other art enthusiasts, getting each other’s perspectives and learning from one another.
We typically meet on Fridays from 10:30am to 2:30pm at the church, but you can arrive and leave whenever. However, check our Calendar for our weekly schedule, as sometimes we have to cancel certain events.
For all artists, please bring your own floor and table coverings, which are required to protect our facility and resources if you’re using anything messy or that can stain. Also, please no toxic materials such as turpentine and mineral spirits as we do not have proper ventilation.
